a. Registration and Account Information

To use our app, you must register for an account and provide accurate information about yourself, including your first name, appropriate profile picture, age, gender (optional), and US based phone number.

b. SMS Phone Verification

To protect the security and integrity of our app, we use SMS phone verification to authenticate your account. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from us for the purpose of account verification.

c. In-Person Speed Networking Sessions

Our platform hosts and automates in-person speed networking sessions for social/business events hosted by contracted/subscribed organizers. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations while attending their events, and to behave in a courteous and respectful manner towards other attendees.

d. User Conduct and Liability

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for your conduct on our app and during our organizers’ affiliated events. We are not liable for any damages or harm that may result from your use of our app or your attendance at said events. You further acknowledge and agree that you will not engage in any conduct that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or harassing, and that you will not use our app for any unauthorized or illegal purposes.

e. Background Checks

We do not conduct background checks or verify the identity of users, and we are not responsible for any actions or behaviors of users before, during, or after events. You agree to use our services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and to act in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times. We reserve the right to remove any user or content that we deem inappropriate or in violation of these terms.

f. Limitation of Liability for Event Activities

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damages, including without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of or in connection with the use of our services or events.

g. Blocking and Banning Users

We reserve the right to block or ban users from our platform based on reports obtained from other users, attendees, or contracted organizers. We also reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary if we find a user's profile information or content inappropriate, including removing or blocking them.

h. Termination of Account

We have the right to terminate user accounts from our platform, based on evidence obtained from other users, attendees, or contracted organizers. If we find a user's profile information/content inappropriate, we have the right to take any action we deem necessary, whether it be removing/blocking them from the App, or not allowing them to attend/rsvp events through the app or in real-time during the events.

i. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older in the United States, or comply with the age restrictions defined by your country, to use the App.

j. Organizer Contracts

Contracts between the App and organizers who create/host events on our App allow some organizers access to users’ information such as: name, connections made at their (organizer’s) events, email, and phone number. These details will be specified in the Privacy Policy.

k. Changes to Terms of Agreement

We reserve the right to update or modify this Terms of Agreement at any time. We will give users/organizers an agreed upon time limit to agree to the new terms before implementing any new changes. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website, and your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

1. Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse. Our platform guarantees to protect user data to the best of our abilities and resources.

2. Data retention and deletion

We retain user information up to 5 years after account creation or up to the agreed upon term limits put in place by an organizer contract with our platform. If there is no organizer contract in place, then user(s) can have account deleted upon request. Once account deletion is complete all information related to user will no longer be accessible to our company. Go to the “Edit Profile” section of the app to have your account deleted.

3. User Generated Content

Users are responsible for the content they post on the App. The Company reserves the right to remove any content that violates our Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy, or for any other reason. The Company does not claim ownership of any user generated content on the App.

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

If a user attends an event hosted/created by a contracted organizer, then that organizer can have access (with respect to their contract’s limitations) to that user’s name, connections made at their (organizer’s) events, email, and phone number.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may also disclose your personal information if required by law.

5. Information Collection and Use

We collect certain information in order to provide our services and ensure the best possible user experience. This information includes first name, phone number, email, gender (optional), DOB, one profile photo, and interests.  We use this information to create users’ profiles, provide them with people to network with during events, and improve our services and features. By using our services, you agree to our collection and use of this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

6. GPS based location of Users

Our application critically relies on foreground location access to fulfill its core purpose and deliver value to our users. The essence of our app lies in authentic interaction between users within a specific physical location, ensuring that they are present at the destination before they can engage. The foreground location access is paramount in verifying the physical presence of the users, which is paramount for the integrity and efficacy of our service. This is why we require the GPS foreground location of users during the event to ensure that they can participate in the service we provide.

7. Consented Chat Feature

Our app has a consented chat feature that allows users to chat with each other (if both choose to) after the event. We have no liability or responsibility for the discussions/actions that transpire from the users chatting with each other on our app. User can delete chats and all its content at their convivence on the App.

8. User Information and Analytics

Any information we collect from users is kept within our servers, it’s hosted on a secure third-party server provided by Google Cloud. We will collect user information generated from users’ interactions for the purpose of analytics. This information can include whether or not users decided to share their contact information with each other and interests. We may use this information to improve our app and services, but we will not disclose it to any other third parties without user consent or without organizer consent.

9. User Generated Content and Posting

Users may take video or make content from a networking session during events. If you wish to not be filmed, please let users/organizers know before/during the event. Otherwise users reserve the right to post this content on their social media platforms, and you acknowledge and agree that you have no right to control or restrict their use of such content. You further acknowledge and agree that you are not required to be compensated for the use of said content.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will give users/organizers an agreed upon time limit to agree to the new Privacy Policy before implementing any new changes. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website, and your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
